Our Mission

The mission of the Maternal Newborn Nurse Professionals of Southeastern Michigan (MNNP) organization is to improve the healthcare of mothers & their newborns through leadership, networking & staff education.

The purpose of MNNP is to promote the professional development of perinatal nurses and to encourage a collaborative effort toward the improvement of perinatal nursing in our region.

Rose is a member of Macomb County's FIMR (Fetal/Infant Mortality Review) Board and contingent instructor for the ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) Course.

MNNP Treasurer: Andrea Carlson BSN, RNC-OB

Andrea is a Registered Nurse working in the Family Birth Center at Henry Ford Wyandotte. She has been the Treasurer of MNNP since 2002.
